This truly is a unique blend highlighted by Zinfindel and Pinot Noir. Over half of the wine is made from grapes produced from at least 70 year old vines. Old vines (meaning the vines are over 50 years old) produce more concentrated fruit flavors. The light yet earthy Pinot Noir softens the wine a bit and produces a smooth finish as well as a pleasurable and unique experience.
Deep ruby red in color. Bing cherry and blackberry flavors in the mouth with a hint of licorice. A full rich mouthfeel with medium tannins, reminiscent of some italian wines. Smooth and soft on the finish.
