Domaine Gres St Vincent

$19.99

Overview

This wine comes to us from the Southern Rhone Valley in France just outside the Chateauneuf-du-Pape region.  The wine is made by the Les Vignerons d'Estezargues co-operative.  A co-operative is a wine business owned by grape growers of a particular region.  Domaine Gres St. Vincent is one of the best plots within the co-operative which is why the Domaine's name is on the bottle.  This allows the co-operative to showcase its best grapes.  This wine is all natural and represents one of the best values on our shelves.

Tasting Notes

Nearly black in the glass with a deep purple rim. Scents of black plum, cured green and black olives, orange pulp and smoky bramble dominate the nose. The palate is a deep and luxurious expression of ripe black and red fruit flavors followed by dried meat tones and sweet herbs. This powerful blend is boosted by supple acidity and the wine finishes with subtle tannins.
