Selvapiana Bucerchiale Rsv

Overview

Country/State: Italy
Region: Tuscany,Chianti Rufina
Varietal: Sangiovese

The Bucerchiale is made only from grapes of older sangiovese vines, aged in a mix of new and older oak barrels for 15 months, then blended and bottled and aged another 10 months before marketing. The 2010 brings scents of cherry, roses and balsamic, and black fruit flavor. Sangiovese’s natural acidity is present along with a touch of alcohol in the finish, but it is balanced by the fine-grained tannin and generous fruit.
