The Cade Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is made from some of Napa’s most renowned vineyards: Kenefick Ranch Vineyards in Calistoga, Beckstoffer’s MelroseVineyard in Rutherford and Dr. Crane Vineyards in St. Helena, Hanson-Hsieh Vineyard in Oak Knoll, Heitz Cellars in Pope Valley, UC Davis Oakville Station, and Komes Ranch in St. Helena.
Winemaker notes: The wine has aromas of cherry, raspberry, dried sage, vanilla extract, and brambles. The density and weight in the palate is thick and velvety. The tannins are elegant, smooth, and rich. The wine finishes with flavors of anise, cedar, rose hips, bing cherry, and strawberry. The oak has imparted flavors of graham cracker, cola, clove, brown spice, and a touch of toasted marshmallow.
