Raisins Gaulois Lapierre

Overview

It is not often that a winery's entry level wine is made from grapes grown within a cru vineyard site.  Yet, this is precisely the case with the Raisins Gaulois Lapierre.  Brother and sister Mathieu and Camille are third generation wine makers who use biodynamic vineyard practices to grow their Gamay grapes.  This wine was made to drink young and is best enjoyed with a slight chill.  In the glass, fresh and juicy red fruit take center stage. This is a wine made for anyone and everyone.

Tasting Notes

Lean with a dusty tannin that manages to stay light on it’s feet with a brilliant acidity that caresses the back of your palate. Cherry blossoms, blood orange peel with a touch of baking spice.
